Hello,
I have noticed a peculiar trend in one of my pairs. A person asked many questions and grade points only to one person neglecting all negative peer comments. Not only that, when that person post completely different answer the asker has changed the question according to that answer in glossary entry. Also the asker confessed that 'the sentences were one after the other in a paragraph" which means she just did a full text translation at free of cost!

Dear friends, what do you think about it. Is it a scam? Do you face similar problems in your pairs? Do you say it is a scam? ▲ Collapse | | | veratek Brasilien Local time: 02:36 Französisch > Englisch + ... put info together and alert moderators | Jan 6, 2011 |
Hi,
I think the best thing for you to do is to make a list of the "evidence" and send it to moderators. I guess the "verdict" will depend on how often this has happened, the profiles of the people involved, etc.
I haven't seen anything so bad as you described, but I have noticed that certain people do award points also based on friendship. You can tell by the way they congratulate each other. Although there is certain tolerance for this type of behavior, I'm sure it could be ... See more Hi,

I haven't seen anything so bad as you described, but I have noticed that certain people do award points also based on friendship. You can tell by the way they congratulate each other. Although there is certain tolerance for this type of behavior, I'm sure it could be abused. ▲ Collapse | | | Nesrin Vereinigtes Königreich Local time: 05:36 Englisch > Arabisch + ... You should report this to your Kudoz moderator. If the abuse is obvious (and sometimes, the asker and answerer are found to have the same IP address, i.e. it's the same person asking and awarding points to themselves), I think the user can sometimes be warned or blocked. | | | Please provide relevant details through the support system | Jan 6, 2011 |
Hello keshab,
Could you please submit a support request and provide all relevant details? This will help me look into this further.
I am now locking this thread as the topic is outside the scope of the forums. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Kind regards,
