When I ask a Kudoz question through Kudoz.Net and I write something in Spanish (with accents), then the question appears in Proz with all the accents substitued by things like these: à ó

THe same happens with many languages. I think the problem can be solved by setting your Browser to the correct language.
Try going on a web page, then click with the right mouse button and see what settings you have under Encoding. I assume for Spanish you'd have to choose Western European.

Change the character encoding in your browser

Elvira was right about how to solve this problem. To view KudoZ text encoded in different character sets, you need to change the character encoding in your browser. On your browser's menu, go to View->Encoding and select the appropriate character set.

Changing char set in browser not a good solution

I have noticed parts of the Kudoz page in one character set and another part in another character set. The problem seems to be with the page itself.
By the way, I'm sorry I started another thread with this same topic, I didn't realize this was here. Can it be deleted?
