Hi Maria
I hope you are doing well.
Yes, this program is the best i have ever used. It maintains the format and frames of the PDF as it is into the DOC, PPT, XLS formates.
It is: Able2Extract Professional

I have ever seen and used is Solid Converter PDF v3 (http://www.solidpdf.com/). And I have tried a lot of such programs. It can handle even tables (it converts them as tables and not as separate rows) and headers and footers (it recognizes them and converts accordingly). Adobe Acrobat Pro has deficient function for such a job. But be aware that you often need to edit converted docs anyway.

Also, an interesting solution is PDF2XL, if you have to deal with lots of tables in a PDF file.
You can find it here: http://www.cogniview.com/pdf2xl.php
How do I ....... from PDF
How do I ........into PDF
must be the immortal "I love you" of software forums.
No malice on my part, probably a reflection of the fact that we are getting more and more stuff in the PDF format, often as next-to-illegible scans of fax transmissions etc. etc.
I use Read Iris 10 Pro, which came with the driver CD for my printer.
