Ich hab es erstmal so gelöst:
"Am Getreidemarkt kam es bei Sojabohnen zu einem deutlichen Preisanstieg ..." und "Die Preise im Nutztierbereich wurden durch den erheblichen Rückgang der Schweine-Futures nach unten gedrückt ..."

Commodity markets

The heavy-weight energy component was marginally positive, having been helped by modest gains in oil and gasoline prices, but hampered by lower natural gas prices. Finally, the ***livestock component*** was weighed down by significant declines in hog futures, which suffered the effects of bans following the swine flu outbreak.
