The new settings that you implemented in the SIMATIC Manager on the ES must be compiled with the function "Compile OS". When compiling the data select "Named Connection" as the connection for SIMATIC PCS 7 V6.0.

The Name of the connection and the used application type are integral part of the "Named Connections".

Once having created all connections and performed all remaining settings in the project, the OS can be compiled after the creation of the user program. Open the dialog for the OS-compilation in the component view of the SIMATIC Manager under "Extras > OS > compile".
