Deutsch term
einen Hupton quittieren
Deutsch > Englisch
Technik
Computer: Hardware
Simatic/PCS 7
Context:
Quittiergruppe: Gruppe die gleichzeitig einen Hupenton [sic] quittiert.
I'm rather baffled by precisely what is meant by this. "A group that simultaneously acknowledges a hooter", doesn't seem to make much sense.

acknowledge a horn (alarm)
This seems to be one way of putting it (and Siemens uses it as well).
Note from asker:
Thanks. I don't really understand how a group can acknowledge a horn, but never mind... |
