Deutsch term
Das Plus an Bildung
Deutsch > Englisch
Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften
Bildungswesen/Pädagogik
This is a claim for an educational institute for the Handwerkskammer. I need to translate it for an interview in a local bi-lingual business magazine. It's also the title of the article.
Here's a short excerpt with what is meant by "Plus":
So far I have come up with "More Education" or "More than Education", but I would appreciate other (better?) ideas!

Additional Value Education
It is literally "mehr wert"

There are obviously some pithy variations on this one, so if anyone prefers added value or value-added education, that's fine by me!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "Value-added education fits the bill best. Thank you everyone for all your excellent ideas."

Extra Education / Education Extras
a suggestion that would seem to fit the context.

Or you might even say "Additional training / education".
That would keep the 'plus' idea...

British Diana
: this does not have the adding-on dimension, in fact I thought "cutting edge" was like being at the forefront of new developments?

: I like the "edge" idea, but not "cutting". Perhaps "Education with an edge"? Then "das notwendige Plus" in the text can be "the necessary edge" to succeed, etc.

For that extra portion of education
Your extra portion of education.
Wie wär's mit "For that extra portion of knowledge"?

Oder sogar: For that extra portion of skill.

the education edge - or - the education advantage
Two suggestions.
Both short, because it is the title of the article.

: I like "advantage", how about "advantage in education"?
