According to Pschyrembel Klinisches Woerterbuch, FBA is short for Fetalblutanalyse, Mikroblutuntersuchung am Feten (Fetal blood analysis)verfahren zu Ueberwachung des Kindes unter Geburt durch Entnahme einiger Tropfen Blut aus der Haut des vorangehenden kindl. Teils un Bestimmung des pH-Wertes.
