ProZ.com powwow: Nautical Powwow

April 26, 2008, 3:00 pm
Vereinigtes KönigreichNottinghamIn personEnglisch
The 5th Nottingham Powwow will be held from 3 pm on Saturday 26th April at The Waterfront Bar on Castle Wharf, Canal St, Nottingham, NG1 7EH.

We will be seated upstairs from the bar with a lovely view of the canal (though if we are blessed with a sunny day there is lots of outside seating).

For a map see here: http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=GB|NG1%207EH

Directions:

If you are coming from the train station, head towards the city centre but turn left onto Canal Street instead of crossing over to the bus station (if you are coming from the bus station turn left away from the shopping centre and then right at the traffic lights onto Canal Street).

Walk past the Fellows, Morton & Clayton pub and the Canalhouse Bar & Restaurant on the left and then take the next minor left (Castle Wharf with restricted vehicle access). If you go past the Evening Post building you have gone too far along Canal St!

The Waterfront is a large silver building and you can either enter at the back and go upstairs to the bar or walk around to the front by the canal and use the main entrance opposite the Magistrates Court.

I look forward to seeing you there!
Best regards, Sarah

lost this one... :( Apr 28, 2008

I see that this was the first powwow for other ProZians also, so I should really have been there for my 1st.
I found that it wasn't so cheap to travel to Nottingham. And I'm afraid in June it will be even more difficult for me, but I'll try. Could you please decide the day ASAP so I can buy the train tickets in advance?

Thanks from us, too Apr 30, 2008

Thanks for organising this one again, Sarah. We had a very jolly time, as can be seen by the fact that we staid about 3 hours longer than planned.
