Hie,

I'm looking for a rate range for a daily rate to apply to a client to perform some days translations and proofreading in Euros working as a freelance.
Thanks for your share of information.

Mid-level office work wage times x Jul 29, 2015

A useful reference value is 1.75-2 times median wage in your country for mid-level office work, say in accounting. Including all benefits that the employer pays and which might not be visible on the wage slip.

If you can't get that from your clients, you're in trouble.

If it is just for a few days, charge your standard hourly rate for whatever amount of hours you are going to be in the office. Add travel expenses.

If it is for a longer time, say several weeks or months, aim for at least your average income as a freelancer for the appropriate length of time, considering that you won't be able to take in any other work during the days where you work at your client's offices.
