This reminds me of another peanuts job I saw a couple of days ago: Subtitle translation including time coding for... 2 USD per audio minute, and 24-hours' turn-around. Now, if that isn't generous.

Ooops, I suppose I was laughing too hard at your joke, that I forgot to enter the amount they were willing to pay. Additionally, there was a note that translators who can't agree to that rate, shouldn't apply.... See more

There's always someone for whom these USD 2.00 is a small fortune. I was tempted to submit a "real" quote, but they eliminated that by requesting the the rate must be stated in the subject line. (Sigh)
