German term
Eine nächste
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Discharge report on a patient with implantable defibrillator/cardioverter.
"Eine naechste AICD-Kontrolle ist in einem Intervall von 3 Monaten zu empfehlen."
My problem: does it mean that follow-up should take place EVERY 3 months, or that the NEXT follow-up should take place in 3 months. I am leaning towards the former, but I am far from being sure.
German natives and near-natives please help!
Ok,Ok, Austrians, too :):)

A next AICD check in 3 months is recommended
While they may well recommend checks every 3 months, I understand the German text as another check in 3 months. They could have worded it a bit simpler, though.
