Rita!

Exactly what I was thinking Aug 6, 2013

I was really half joking while also being overly critical. You should have quipped: "how else do you expect a stranger to address you anyway?"

Yet, what I had in mind that contrasts with this type of mass mailing was an email solicitation I received not too long ago that was personally addressed to me. Now in my book that's a PM who likely did her homework.

Certified Pro Aug 6, 2013

Rita,

Do you mind me asking you a Proz-related question? Well, it's only sorta; just ignore me if you think it's too personal.

Congratulations to you on your Certified Pro status - I just now noticed it, BTW. But my question is: was that accomplished with the partial membership you were talking about, or did you have to upgrade to a full membership?

Certified Pro!

Good eye, Steve! Indeed the certified PRO badge is only available to those who are full members. I decided to give full membership a try this year- the difference is some 40 USD, which I am sure I can make it back within a year's time. I wanted to see if this will do anything for my business.

I actually started the application when I was a jobs partial member and was immediately told that my application would be put on hold until I become a full member. The good news is that I did not need to re-write the whole application upon becoming a full member; they re-activated my submission and I was approved within what, 2 days?

Rita, Congratulations!
Does it mean that once you become a full time member you can send application to be a certified Pro? Or you need other accredentials to become one?
