Hallo,
ich kann seit gestern SDL Trados 2007 nicht mehr öffnen.
Beim Versuch das Programm zu starten erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:
"Die Applikation konnte nicht initialisiert werden."
Anschließend folgt eine zweite Fehlermeldung: "Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektsinstanz festgelegt."
Ich habe bereits versucht das Problem durch eine Neuinstallation, Reparatur und Neustart zu beheben. Leider hat nichts geholfen. Auch die Hi... See more Hallo,

Ich habe bereits versucht das Problem durch eine Neuinstallation, Reparatur und Neustart zu beheben. Leider hat nichts geholfen. Auch die Hilfestellungen, die hier im Forum zu einem ähnlichen Problem geboten wurde, waren nicht erfolgreich.
Kennt vielleicht jemand einen Lösungsvorschlag?
Für Tipps schon mal vielen Dank im Voraus.

Let me first point out that the language of this forum is English. Your chances to receive an answer is higher is you post your questions in English.
About your problem: are your really talking about the 2007 version? I ask because this error message looks more like it could come from SDL Trados Studio 2009.
Did you try to repair or rerun the installation?

many thank´s for your information. I will post my question in the German forum.
Yes, the error message occurs really on Trados 2007.
I try to solve this problem with a repair and rerun the installation, but nothing worked.

bei deinem konkreten Problem kann ich dir leider nicht helfen - es hat sich inzwischen hoffentlich gelöst - aber ich schlage vor, dass du dir einen Hotline-Service (ich meine, es heißt Software Maintenance Agreement) bei Trados kaufst. Das ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber ich habe gute Erfahrungen damit und es beruhigt die Nerven zu wissen, dass man schnell Hilfe bekommen kann. Oft ist man ja hoffnungslos überfordert, wenn Trados sich danebenbenimmt.

Troubleshooting error messages during startup of SDL Trados Synergy
Symptoms
During startup of the application, SDL Trados Synergy displays one of the following error messages:
· Failed to initialise
· Object reference not set to an instance of an object
The startup process cannot continue and it is not possible to open the application.
Explanation
In rare instances, these symptoms may point to a corrupted user profile for the Synergy application.
Resolution
Delete the file server.xml from the folder:
· Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\My Documents\SDL Trados\Projects\Local
· Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Documents\SDL Trados\Projects\Local
If that does not solve the problem, delete the following folders:
· Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\SDL International
· Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL International
And:
· Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Application Data\SDL International\SDL Trados Synergy
· Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SDL International\SDL Trados Synergy
Note
After following these steps you will be able to start Synergy again. You may need to re-create some or all of your projects. ▲ Collapse
