I just came about the Blue Board and noticed the colour the field on the top: "Note: See any incorrect data or missing details? Please contact a job moderator so that the correction or addition can be made.

IMO, it is not a good idea to have the text in black/dark red and the underlying colour nearly black - the visibility is horrible.

THEMENSTARTER
I am using IE 6.0.
Can it really be abot my settings? If so, I would very much appreciate some advice.
I see the background of this field in a very dark grey tone, nearly black, as the text is.

I see the same problem. Black text on charcoal black background. The disclaimer box on the bottom. Highly illegible.

and on light yellow background, highly legible.
It seems that these are your settings.
Check the settings in IE - Tools - Internet options - Browsing. Maybe there is something wrong.

I get dark green background while the page is loading, when it is fully loaded, the background colour changes to light yellow.
