From a tutorial of a military game. This is part of the instructions at the training course, unfortunately, not more context:

(V.O., Radio) Now we’re going to cover some basic snap to surface maneuvers.

Hi there, sorry for the delay, no it is not a Kameraeinstellung, it seems like a maneuver where someone is connected to a surface, such as a container, so, Klimmzüge is also not quite the thing.

Hi Izy,

kann es sein, dass "basic snap" zusammengehört ...? Snap hat ja viele Bedeutungen, u. a. auch Flüche etc. was doch zu einem Drill ganz gut passen würde.

Nach dem Motto: Los, Jungs, und jetzt ein paar kochenharte Grundlagen für XX Manöver (was auch immer damit gemeint ist).

Nur so eine Idee ...
