Review your notes from previous calls, and identify outstanding issues. Before calling on a customer, check out the history for this customer in your notes from previous calls. If you’ve taken good notes – and you should have been – then you’ll be able to anticipate the customer’s needs, what to look for in store, and be better prepared. Was a previously out of stock skew correctly restocked? Did the store place the right promotional unit, also known as point of sale, in the correct location? Was it placed at the right time?
