I think the suggestions above are correct. I'm not sure exactly what the context is (it sounds like a report card to me), so this might be to harsh. Perhaps "His homework need to improve." might be morelikely to be heard from a teacher to a parent.

I can't imagine a teacher referring to the chores the boy should be doing - if at all, this only indirectly has something to do with his "Flüchtigkeitsfehler" (sometimes referred to in a politically incorrect, but often innocent way as "dumb mistakes" = mistakes that occur because the pupil was working to quickly and that could have been avoided if the pupil had worked a little more carefully or had checked over the answers).

I don\'t know about the others, but I don\'t think this necessarily has anything to do with organization at all - \"Fleiß\" is \"(hard) work\" even if it is completely disorganized. Therefore, I think you would be \'distorting\' it far too much by translating it as \"organized\" (IMHO). :-)

the way he does domestic/household chores..... maybe not thorough enough-needs more context to know what exactly is needed.
