The last Stammtisch* went on vacation to the beach in Brighton, but now it's back in London! Unfortunately, we can no longer meet at Grafton Arms; I was told that they would have to start charging us £50 for room rental, as they were not making enough money... The good news is that I found an alternative location - let's see how we like it.

The nearest tube station is Goodge Street, but the pub is also conveniently located in close proximity to Euston, Euston Square, Warren Street and Great Portland Street stations. In contrast to Grafton, food is served at Carpenters Arms. Since this will be our first time at the new venue, I suggest we stick to straightforward socialising, rather than a seminar or presentations. Let's see how we like the venue first!
