Hello everybody

I am about to start working on a project involving a lot of formatting rather than translating, and I am supposed to charge per hour rather than per word. Do you know any freeware allowing such control of this time, so that I can stop the time measurement at any time and resume after having some coffee?

Time Stamp is a freeware MS Windows program you can use to easily track time spent on a project. It includes features that let you take "slack time" for a phone call or break. Times for various tasks can be linked to an hourly charge rate for accurate billing:

Thank you Ignacio, Time Stamp really does the job. And I like its configuration capabilities.

Thank you everybody for your replies. As for Cratchit TimeTool, it wasn't something I needed, but I tried it. Advanced Time Reports was also something else, quite useless in this setting. Another one that is worth trying is ClickWork, much simpler than Time Stamp but also quite convenient.
