"I have seen the use of "Pension Sharing" under the "Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999", which followed the "Pensions Act 1995". The Pensions Act of 1995 amended the existing law under "Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 (“MCA”) adding the concept of "earmarking" (the "earmarking order" was renamed "pension attachment order" by the 1999 act).
