Deutsch term

Solo-LKW

Deutsch > Englisch Technik Kraftfahrzeuge/PKW und LKW
"Alle Übungen werden mit leeren Solo LKWs gefahren"

This can't just mean that you only drive one at a time, surely? Is "single HGV" a technical term that means something too?

rigid lorries/trucks, or rigids

If Thomas is right about them being lorries that are not articulated or pulling a trailer, then they are commonly referred to as "rigids"

neutral petrolhead : The point here is the vehicles run without a trailer/semitrailer. A rigid truck can still be coupled to a trailer to make a drawbar outfit.
