range deductions
Here's Andy Lemminger's explanation:
Explanation:
range=amount on hand/amount sold in year*365=days of inventory left
Deductions are made if there is excessive inventory

the company has written off [adjusted/devalued?] stocks [goods in stock // stored goods/products]
Just speculating - I'm not yet satisfied with my suggestion as I can't really figure out where the "Reichweite" comes into play (possibly write-offs/adjustments for slow movers/stocks with long turnaround period??).

Right, Rod, but isn\'t this similar to a \"bad debt adjustment\", \"adjustment for irrecoverable debt\", or sth. along those lines?
(i.e. cash which the company has not been able to collect up until a certain point in time, and which is then written off because it is deemed uncollectable/irrecoverable)

: I fancy the "Reichweite" may be = "commuted" or "inclusive", or along those lines.

shrinkage deductions
I have seen this term in a number of financial statements over the years, and am still not completely sure how it should be translated.
One does speak of inventory shrinkage in English.

Discussion
P.S. I'm going to have to make the other Reichweite a separate question!
Reichweite der Forderungen aus Lieferungen und Leistungen = Forderungsbestand x 360 : Umsatzerlse
