It's probably pork, which does shrink more than beef. In the US, most people are so unaware that they even don't realize that they are getting less for their money - they just notice the fat in the pan.

I must have hit the wrong button on the confidence level - I wanted it to be medium, because this is the way you\'d talk about it. The steak part bothers me - it\'s usually pork that shrivels up, and not beef, which is what is implied with steak.

Die Folge: Tomaten schmecken noch wie Tomaten, �pfel wie �pfel, und auch das Fleisch schmurgelt in der Pfanne nicht zu einem Winzsteak zusammen. Doch die Not der Bauern macht sie auch offen f�r Erfindungen. Statt auf Bio setzen sie lieber auf Gentechnik.
