Deutsch term

buchen

Deutsch > Englisch Wirtschaft/Finanzwesen Finanzen (allgemein) Bezahlsysteme
The word buchen and Buchung come up repeatedly in a text about an online payment system, such as Paypal. Sentences include:
1. Ein Kündigungsbutton zur Kündigung von gebuchten Projekten befindet sich im Kontobereich von xxxx, sowie auf allen Zugangstoren.
2. Die Belastung von Zahlungen erfolgt automatisch nach Abschluss des jeweiligen Buchungsvorgangs

Essentially, the customer pays for services on a provider's website ("gebuchte Projekte") and then pays for them via the payment provider. I'm not sure about the appropriate translation for "buchen" in this case, I don't think booking's correct - is posting more appropriate? Or something else? Cheers.

post

Accounting entries are "posted" to the books. A Buchungsvorgang is a posting (transaction).

schedule

To me, this looks like those projects are scheduled (or you might say "ordered"?). Once these projects are completed, the payments for them post to the account.
At least, this is how I understand it.

enter/entry

since this is similar to an accounting system, I would use the terms "enter" (a project or purchase) and "entry", as a verb or noun respectively.
