Does anybody know where Laurent K, alias ScottishWildcat, went? He was still active on the forum yesterday. His profile is gone...
If anybody knows him personally or has his contact data, can you please let him know I am looking for him?

This sounds really strange. He is one of the moderators of the new cohort for 2009/2010, so it really strikes to learn that his profile is empty.

I believe I did see the green moderator tag under his name yesterday, but today, seeing as his profile is gone, I thought maybe I hallucinated. Strange, indeed...

Unfortunately I cannot get in touch with him since --as far as I can remember-- we never exchanged emails outside of the fora...
Indeed he became a moderator and posted his "hello from moderator" message etc. etc. in the fora. It sounds really strange that he does not exist, all of a sudden. I also wonder what happened. He might be able to read this forum from outside and get in touch with you, I reckon.

It's just a shot in the dark, I don't know anything, but could he have changed his user name? Could that be a possible explanation as to why you can't find his profile?
I wouldn't have thought a profile would just vanish, especially a moderator's profile!
OK, having just read Enrique's explanation, I now understand what has happened.
I find it surprising all the same, I must admit, even in these strange times!

Knowing Laurent from all his activity in Proz I don't think he is the kind of person who would be discouraged by comments about one of his postings. Maybe at some time we have a chance to learn about what happened.
