My name is Ana Mialdea, and I am a PhD student at Imperial College London under the supervision of Mark Shuttleworth and Jorge Díaz Cintas. I am researching curriculum design for postgraduate distance learning courses/modules in translation in Spanish and British institutions. My aim is to compile information that will be used for the creation of a set of guidelines for best practice.
I am hoping to distribute a questionnaire to participants studying distance learning courses/modules as part of my research. The participants would need to have started or completed their course/module and therefore to have already formed a sufficiently clear opinion about their course/module in order to answer the questionnaire.
The questions relate to background information, study methods and use of distance learning technology. I would appreciate it if you could complete the questionnaire by the end of November 2009 at the latest. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. I would also be interested in interviewing you. If you are willing to be interviewed you can provide your contact details at the end of the questionnaire.
As a thank you for completing the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to win £20 Amazon vouchers.
