Hi everybody! I'm studying a master's degree in Specialised Translation at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators in Forlì, Italy (English and Spanish); with the help of my supervisor, Prof. Delia Chiaro, I'm starting a thesis on dubbing in the world, trying to investigate traditions, trends, the reasons why some countries don't use it, etc. I'm considering applying for a thesis abroad scholarship in order to gather the necessary information, but of course I ne... Hi everybody! I'm studying a master's degree in Specialised Translation at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators in Forlì, Italy (English and Spanish); with the help of my supervisor, Prof. Delia Chiaro, I'm starting a thesis on dubbing in the world, trying to investigate traditions, trends, the reasons why some countries don't use it, etc. I'm considering applying for a thesis abroad scholarship in order to gather the necessary information, but of course I need to choose a destination beforehand and I don't currently know of any university, centre, etc. in the world that focuses on dubbing or could be otherwise helpful. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance!
