Dear friends,
Could anyone please indicate me some reference materials (books, articles, etc.) about translators' assessment (theoretical studies, skills, test elaboration, evaluation). I would like to find out as much as possible about this subject.
TIA,

Thanks Ceci,
I've already ordered a couple of books
Other suggestions are welcome as well.

(Geoff makes a very good and clear distinction between different levels of translation assessment in the big fuzzy category of what so many people simply call translation quality. Rick Woyde. 2002. Translation needs in auto manufacturing. Multilingual Computing & Technology, #46 Volume 13 Issue 2
These last two are not at the www.multilingual.com site probably because no one has probably asked yet that they be placed online.
Also, one of the first discussions about the SAEJ2450 translation quality metric was published in:

Another good reference is the following book that I reviewed.

Don't let it put you off that it has to do with Machine Translation. The author is a specialist in translation and did an excellent well-documented study from a translation studies perspective. Read the review at the link above.
