The ATA has scheduled a translation certification exam in NY for the end of August.
Anyone taking or interested in taking that exam?
Preparation and practice are the most important things to be successful. I know that first hand. Preparation and practice are the most important things to be successful. I know that first hand. After intensive practice and being persistent, I took the English-to-Spanish certification exam a few years ago and passed it. Since then, I have helped a few others to practice to take the exam. I am currently interested in taking the Spanish-to-English exam, though I am also thinking about becoming a medical interpreter. I understand you also have to take an exam for that.
Other than with teachers and mentors, where else can one prepare for these exams? ▲ Collapse
