Would be nice to have some of the lesser known things. For example, I remember reading we can do metric->imperial conversions and mathematical functions in Google, but I can't remember the syntax. I think most of us already knew most of what you've mentioned in the article.

For the Fagan Finder, I have found a link to replace the erroneous "Eurodicautom" link:

In the web search engine connection, I have found a way of "bending" AltAvista UK to search for a French expression and restrict the results to the UK. I harvest with reasonable frequency a few translations of the search terms. It's a long way better than BabelFish:)
